Operating

How we work

  1. 01 / 04

    Fixed back-to-back

Tonnage is chartered in against cargo, fixture by fixture. We are the counterparty on both sides, so the ship is chosen for the stem, not the other way round.

  2. 02 / 04

Vetted before the recap is final

Owners, managers and vessels are vetted before the recap is final. Charter parties are on BIMCO-standard forms.

  3. 03 / 04

    Covered before loading

P&I and H&M cover is confirmed on every voyage before loading. Bunkers, weather routing, port agents and documents run from one desk, in two time zones.

  4. 04 / 04

    One file to final account

Each fixture runs as one file from recap to final account: laytime settled, freight invoiced, the next fixture already in hand. 254 fixtures have run this way since January 2024.
